I was waiting for the car to arrive and eventually drive me to the church where my groom is waiting. While waiting, I was reading a catalog of fashion containing the latest trends in fashion. In there, I saw a page with a picture of a wedding flip flop, it was gorgeous because every part of the flip flop was well-detailed and with several styles to choose from. I was simply amazed at how  flip flops turned so classy and trendy that they are now used as an important fashion statements. I thought for a moment, using a pair of wedding flip flops is my choice for my wedding but I guess it is too late because a few hours from now I will walk in the middle of the church.

Being so foolish and crazy, I called my soon to be husband through his cell phone and told him about my insanity. I told him to come to me and bring me to the nearest flip flop store so that I can buy a set of wedding flip flop. I know he will say yes because he loves me a lot and he will go wit my insanity. As the cliché goes “love is not love if it is not insanity”. Without hesitation he said yes, and directly drove his car back at my home and picked me up. He used the limousine that was supposed to be our wedding car that will bring us to our honeymoon location.

We stop for a while and hurriedly choose the best wedding flip flop that would compliment my wedding dress. I was wearing purple dress with wings because the theme of our wedding is fairytale. Also, I choose a purple wedding flip flop with grape-like decorations; I felt that I almost look like a grape fruit fairy. It was somewhat funny.

My groom also bought one, a wedding flip flop for male. We spent an hour almost, and everybody was waiting for us in the church already. As a matter of fact, our parents were calling us. So we drove flash into the church and as we stepped down the car everyone was spine-tingled, they did not think that we will just wear flip flops.

The wedding went well, it was great and each of the guests was awed by the product of our insanity. After the wedding, we used our wedding flip flops in our honeymoon. The other piece of my flip flop was even on our bed, because my groom can no longer wait.
