In short, kids want Bakugan toys for three reasons, the first being that the cartoon on which the toys are based is entertaining, engrossing, and action-packed.  Set in Vestroia, an alternate dimension, a number of children help the Bakugans battle against the evil forces who are trying to take over.  The Universe is currently split between the Silent Core (negative) and the Infinity Core (the positive), each of which influences a host of Bakugans.  If you want to keep up with your kids, you should also know that Naga has absorbed too much of the Silent Core, making him the main villain, while his sister, Wavern, adopted more of the Infinity Core, making her the hero of the series.

Designed to appeal to kids by literally serving as a gate from the normal world (in front of the television) to Vestroia, the cartoon sets the stage for the game, allowing children to exercise control on the alternate dimension and escape from this mundane world we like to call earth.  In the game, players roll their new Bakugan toys across way gates to fight for territory, and the first player to control all of the way gates wins.  There is quite a lot of visual and audio stimulation for a game of this type, as the Bakugans, when approaching a way gate, magically spring open into their battle forms.

Bakugan toys also incorporate a fair bit of strategy into the game play, as the battle is decided by a number of factors, which contribute to a Bakugan’s G-Power. These include accessories the player can lay down to support his Bakugan fighter as well as the Bakugan’s and the way gate’s power rating.  Hopefully with this new information you will have a better understanding of why your kids want what they want. So it is no wonder that Bakugan Battle Brawlers toys are so popular game: they have every aspect a kid could want!
