Does the thought, my wife having an affair, often cross your mind?  This type of thought is not something that comes out of nowhere.  You have noticed a definite change in your marriage and not for the better.  In fact, you are really worried.

This is not the time to lose your cool.  Your feelings might be to rush in and accuse her of having an affair.  Once words are spoken, the impact can have a lasting affect.  Making heated accusations without proof will likely end in denial by your wife.  If you are wrong, and she is not having an affair, then you have certainly made your marital problems worse and could quite easily escalate into a how to get your ex back situation.

Here are some signs that could be indicators that your thoughts my wife having an affair may be valid.  Please note, these are only signs that an affair might be going on.  These signs are not proof of it.  The more signs you note in your marriage, the greater the chance of an affair.

1.  She is always urging you to go hang out with your male friends, or take up a hobby.  A shift from the norm is often seen in marriages where infidelity is involved.

2.  Your wife is constantly hanging onto her cell phone.  She seems to take it with her wherever she goes.  She gets text messages and calls at all hours, often, which are ignored.

3.  She is frequently spending a lot of time away from the home.  Plans with her girlfriends are a familiar excuse for not being around.  You might even notice that she has suddenly adopted a new lifestyle, such as yoga, tennis or aerobics.  Dropping pounds is something she is wholeheartedly pursuing.

4. She has transformed her image.  New clothes and trendy accessory items, along with a hair makeover have given her a whole new look.  An updated appearance is frequently seen in wives who are having an affair.

5.  Your marriage lacks passion.  No longer are you getting those affectionate kisses.  Sex seems to have dwindled away, or almost.  When it happens, there is no passion or intimate connection.
