A CD driven machine requires you to locate the specific CD, insert it, and then move through the tracks until you get to the one you want. Taking the time to rent karaoke machines for a party is a great idea, but you have to know what you want and what to avoid. If you don’t avoid the bad sort of machines, then your night could end up ruined or at least the money wasted as the machine sits in the corner unused. Avoid the ones that use CDs and most of your karaoke woes will never occur. You should find a machine that makes use of an internal MP3 player or similar interface to queue up songs; the less moving parts the better.
